Chennai: In the world, the number of infected with the global epidemic coronavirus is increasing continuously. Meanwhile, 35 children living in a shelter home in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, have been found corona infected. Taking cognizance of this, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Based on the news published in a newspaper, the apex court has sent a notice to the Palaniswami government of Tamil Nadu on Thursday. According to the news, the hostel warden was corona infected. Later the children also got infected with this virus. Issuing the notice, the court asked the state government how such negligence happened. What is being done by the state government for the protection of children? The court will hear the matter in the case on Monday and asked to give a report regarding the compliance of his order of 3 April.

The court has asked what is being done to prevent children from being taxied on the street or in the orphanage or shelter home. The matter will now be heard on 6 July. The Supreme Court said that the High Court Juvenile Justice Committees will give questionnaires to the State Governments regarding the protection of children from coronavirus infection in the shelter home and collect information from them about it.
