Chennai: The Palaniswami government of Milanadu on Monday announced a complete lockdown in four districts including the state capital Chennai. This lockdown will continue from June 19 to June 30. The Government of Tamil Nadu has taken this decision in view of the increasing cases of Corona virus infection in the state.

Tamil Nadu government has announced complete lockdown in Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur and Chengalpet districts. However, no guidelines related to this have been released. Earlier on Monday morning, the AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu had informed the media that the Health Experts Committee had spoken with CM's Palaniswami. In the talks, health experts suggested loosening the lock-down.

Let us tell you that the cases of corona virus infection in Tamil Nadu have crossed the 45,000 mark. There have been 1974 cases reported there in the last 24 hours.
