Tamil Nadu has contributed INR 10 Crore towards flood relief in Hyderabad

The Government of Tamil Nadu to show the support to the Telangana Government has contributed INR 10 crore towards flood relief. The TN CM EPS has ordered immediate contribution of INR 10cr from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to the Government of Telangana. EPS has written to his parallel state CM expressing his condolences to those affected by the rain and floods in parts of the state. The contribution is a token of support and solidarity to the Telangana people and the Government. 

Delhi government to provide 15 crore for Telangana Flood relief work

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao acknowledged the support offered by the Tamil Nadu CM Palaniswami and also thanked him. Apart from the monetary contribution, the Tamil Nadu government is sending bankers and mats as relief material to the affected families. EPS assured Rao that the Tamil Nadu Government is ready at any time to render any other assistance if required by the Telangana Government without delay. The Weather forecast for the next five days also warns of high to extremely high rainfall over the isolated places all over the state. 

Telangana CM assured relief measures on warfooting

The heavy rain and the resulted floods have claimed 50 lives so far. In the Hyderabad city, rainwater is still stagnant. The governmnet reports of INR 6000 crore. The illegal settlements and encroached colonies are still inundated.  Indian Army and National Disaster Response Force ( NDRF) Personnel are involved in evacuating stranded residents.
