America's renowned jet car racer Jessie Combs has been posthumously awarded the record for driving the fastest speed car in the world. Jessie died on August 27, 2019, in an attempt to break the land-speed record in Alward Desert, Oregon. During this time, his jet-powered car had crossed the speed of 841 km per hour. The Guinness Book of World Records on Thursday announced the inclusion of this record officially. 39-year-old Jessie broke the record of his compatriot Kitty O'Neill 40 years ago in the Alvord desert. Kitty set a record speed of 823 kmph in 1976 from his three-wheeled jet car. Jessie's racing partner, Terry Madden, posted an Instagram post. Confirming this record, Tarry said, 'Eventually Jessie won, for which she gave her life. No record can be greater than its spirit. This was the goal she always wanted to achieve. I am proud of my partner.'

Tarry says that Jessie was the rising bell as soon as the alarm sounded - come, let's make history today. It was a wonderful day for us, as this was the last chance of our effort to make a world record. After this Jessie left alone to race in the Alvard desert with her car. When his jet car caught speed with full preparation and seeing it achieved a record speed of 841.338 km. Just then, the next wheel of a three-wheeled car caused a technical fault and the car became a victim of an accident. Jessie made this car at home. The Harney County Sheriff Office of America said that the speed of the car was more than 885.139 km at the time of the accident. Jessie died of a head injury and his car caught fire. However, he was immediately evicted, but he died before being taken to the hospital.

Jessie, who was fond of speed since childhood, set a new record in 2013 at a speed of 640.549 kmph. After this, she became popular as the fastest woman in the world.
