New Delhi: IPL 2022 is going to start from March 26, which is being sponsored by TATA this time. 'Rupay' has been made the official partner for IPL 2022. At the same time, BCCI has also released the full schedule of IPL on Sunday (March 6, 2022), according to which, there will be a match between 'Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and 'Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)' on the first day and the final league match. The match between 'Sunrisers Hyderabad' and 'Punjab Kings' will be played on 22 May.

 

Thus, this time in the league stage, there will be a total of 70 matches of IPL in 58 days. The 'Double Header' match has been kept on the second day of the start of IPL, when the match of 'Mumbai Indians (MI)' and 'Delhi Capitals (DC)' will take place at 3:30 pm. In the second match of that day, 'Punjab Kings' will face 'Royal Challengers Bangalore' at 7:30 pm. On the third day on March 28, both the new IPL teams 'Gujarat Lions' and 'Lucknow Super Giants' will have a match. IPL matches 20-20 will be played at the 'DY Patil Stadium' located in Nerul, Mumbai and the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai itself, while 15 matches will be played at 'Brabourne' and 'MCA International' stadiums in Pune. At the same time, there will be 12 days when people will get a chance to enjoy 'Double Header' matches. The schedule for the playoffs and the finals to be held on May 29 will come separately.

At the same time, the domestic card payment network 'Rupay' has been made the official partner of IPL 2022. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) said that this partnership has been going on for more than one year. IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel said that this partnership is the amalgamation of two indigenously developed brands of India, which have a global impact. He talked about promoting digital payments. NPCI COO Praveena Rai said that this is the right decision to define the brand of 'Rupay'.
