Mumbai: Another case of crime against women has come to light from Mumbai. A woman was allegedly harassed by a taxi driver. In this case, even after filing an FIR, the police have not yet arrested the accused driver. Videos of the incident have gone viral on social media, causing public outrage.
The woman is a content writer and a law student. About four days ago, the woman shared a video on social media platform-Instagram. News agency PTI reported that the incident took place when the complainant along with her mother and sister hired a taxi from Dadar to Nariman Point in the morning.

The distance from the boarding point to the destination was about 12 km. Reportedly, the woman claimed that as soon as she got into the local taxi, he (taxi driver) opened the zip of his pants and started staring at the woman's private parts. The woman posted three videos of the incident on Instagram.
According to news agency PTI reports, the video has been taken from the seat next to the driver. The family left the car in the middle of their journey and rushed to the local police station to lodge a complaint. "Every time the taxi stopped at a signal, I felt uncomfortable. The family got off the middle of the taxi during the journey," the woman told PTI.
However, the police have not taken any action against him even after registering the case. The woman reportedly did not disclose the name of the police station where she registered the case and the incident could not be immediately confirmed by the police.
