The Directorate of Higher Education has decided to retire teachers and non-teachers who have completed 58 years of age on March 31. They will not get service extension like other departments. Director of Higher Education Dr. Amarjeet Kumar Sharma said that written orders of retirement will be issued to these teachers and non-teachers as soon as the closed offices are opened for protection against corona virus.

According to the sources in the education department, on March 31, more than 100 officers and employees will retire from government services after completing the age of 58 years. The government has ordered the closure of all offices till 31 March to prevent the coronavirus. Written orders of retirement will not be issued to these officers and employees on 31 March due to the office being closed.
