Technology supporting women entrepreneurs extremely: Ivanka Trump


United States First daughter and Donald Trump advisor Ivanka Trump on Wednesday said technology held a boundless potential in the present era to help women entrepreneurs develop in both - their personal and professional living.

"Technology offers a huge opportunity to women entrepreneurs, and we are looking that in terms of the international and domestic growth," Ivanka Trump also said, During addressing the plenary session on the topic 'We Can Do It! Innovations in Workforce Development and Skills Training' at the 8th edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES).She also said that technology had helped reduce barriers and was empowering and facultative women to become more adjustable.

"Technology is a great platform for entrepreneurship because a lot of women are leaving and saying this doesn't work for me. It is inspiring them to go out on their own. It is reducing hurdles to starting new businesses, and creating elasticity around the schedule," Ivanka Trump further said.She also raised the hard work made by women and women entrepreneurs to manage both their personal and professional living, concluding that the way ahead needs a fundamental change.

"One of the reasons we are seeing an explosion of women's entrepreneurship is because long-standing workplaces often haven't worked for us. We are disproportionately rendring unpaid care, while also needing to support our families financially," the 36-year-old businesswoman noticeable.

"These cultural, social, work organization were not set up with the possibility that there would be two parents in the workforce. So we just have to fundamentally change things.
