Hyderabad: A person died of coronavirus in a government hospital in Peddapalli district of Telangana, and his body lay in the hospital for hours. The drivers of the Municipal Corporation were negligent in taking the corpse from the hospital to the crematorium. During this time, a doctor of the hospital tightened up for this work. The doctor himself put the dead body in a tractor and drove the tractor to the crematorium.

Dr Sriram is the nodal officer in Peddapalli district. When the driver of the municipal corporation refused to take the dead body to the crematorium, he himself wore a PPE kit and took the body to the crematorium to perform the last rites of the deceased with full custom. According to the report, a 45-year-old man died on Sunday morning at a government hospital in Peddapalli. The hospital asked the Municipal Corporation to take the body to the crematorium, but no one came there and the body was lying in the ward of the hospital.

Dr Shriram said that as the nodal officer of the district, it was my responsibility to cremate the body properly. Dr Shriram said that he drove the tractor so that the driver can be assured that it is an administrative responsibility to remain stationed in the war against Corona and it should be fully followed.
