Hyderabad: Telangana BJP has intensified its campaign against TRS after the Election Commission announced the schedule for Huzurabad bypoll. BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar's 'Praja Sangram Yatra' enters Bejanaki village in Siddipet district, which is the home constituency of Finance Minister T Harish Rao. BJP sources claim that TRS had tried to malign the image of its own MLA and former health minister Eatala Rajendra. There was a trick against Eatala by accusing him of grabbing the land. Eatala's relentless campaign in his constituency in the last two months has gained a lot of traction among the people, despite the state government announcing the Dalit Bandhu Yojana (DBS) to woo a section of voters.

"Itala's campaign and the bandi's yatra are now forcing the ruling party to talk about the issues the BJP is raising," the senior BJP leader said. Meanwhile, Bandi on Tuesday reiterated the party's charge against the TRS, asking if it was not true that crores of rupees have been deposited as commission in the name of redesigning the Kaleshwaram project. He challenged KCR to come for a debate on the issue.

The Karimnagar MP alleged irregularities of crores in the construction of Palamuru-Rangareddy and other irrigation projects. Also, Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya, power projects and sale of government land. He urged KCR to place the files of all the above projects before the all-party delegation and debate them. Sanjay demanded an independent inquiry into allegations of involvement of the CM's kin and party cadre in grabbing sand, liquor and land in the state. He accused the TRS chief of launching the 'note for vote' scheme after assuming office and spending crores to win general and by-elections.
