Hyderabad: On Thursday, Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao held a discussion with Governor ESL Narasimhan. The discussion was based on the hectic exercise by the Telangana government on anticipated reorganisation of districts and other administrative units in the state.
Initially, the proposal came from te government to form 17 new districts, after that Rao made it clear that the number of new districts would not go beyond 31.
Yesterday, Rao, in a meeting with ministers and senior officials, gave guidelines to them on the constitution of new districts.
