Amid increasing corona cases in Telangana all worries about school going kids’ parents about their exam status. On Monday Telangana Government gives them relief by issuing an order. Let us share here that the State government has issued an order promoting all students of Classes 1 to 9 studying in government, aided and private unaided schools to the next higher class for the academic year 2021-22.

Here it is to be noted that Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy had announced that there was no detention system for classes 1 to 9 in the State, that there was no need for the conduct of exams and that all students would be promoted to the next higher class as part of measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

 For your information order that passed is written as “The government, after careful examination of the matter and keeping in view of the hardship caused due to the Covid-19 pandemic, hereby accord permission to the Director of School Education (FAC), Telangana, Hyderabad, to promote all students of classes 1 to 9 studying in government, aided, and private unaided schools during the academic year 2020-21 to next higher classes in the academic year 2021-22,”.

However, The Director of the School Education has been instructed to take necessary action in the matter. The State government has already declared summer holidays for schools and junior colleges across the State from April 27 till May 31.
