HYDERABAD : Police have arrested a resident of Dawood Hayatnagar who opened fire on another man Ayub Khan over an old dispute last night in the old city of Nawalpura.

According to police, on Saturday night, Nalgonda locals Dawood Zakir alias and Dawood alias Devendra Sharma arrived at a hotel called Ali Cafe in Dabirpura police station area. Here he called a man named Ayub Khan. There was a discussion between the two on the land dispute. At this point Zakir fired his weapon and fired. Dawood is said to have originally belonged to Hayatnagar. It has land in Manipur. There is a dispute between Dawood's father Ibrahim and Chakradhar person and the matter is in court.
