New Delhi [India], Jan 18 (NT): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj stressed on the world coming together to wipe out terrorism.She termed it mother of all disruptions on day 2 of the country's flagship geo-political conference Raisina Dialogue.The event saw world leaders, officials and diplomats from different countries sharing their moves against each other.

The issue of terrorism was mentioned the most during the deliberations.External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said the challenge posed by terrorism has become a lot more serious in the digital age where extremism plays a vital role.She appealed to all to tackle terrorism strictly calling it the biggest disruptive factor in the present context.

The event also saw Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat speaking extensively on the issue of terrorism.Apart from action against terrorists.He sought identification and strict action against those countries which provide help to them. Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani also took part in the Raisina Dialogue.Speaking on empowerment of women..the Minister said women are able and can play a prominent role in taking the economy forward.

Economic affairs and India's rising economic power also figured during the deliberations.Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu says that the govt has an ambitious target of making India a 5 Trillion dollar economy during the next 5 years.This multilateral conference has been a regular event in Delhi since 2016. India's important foreign policy summit is organised jointly by Ministry of External Affairs and Observer Research Foundation.This is designed on the lines of Shangrila Dialogue of Singapore.
