Nairobi: On Thursday, In a terrific incident, suspected al-Shabaab terrorists targeted a residential plot in Kenya's Mandera county on the border with Somalia, due to which six persons were died and one wounded.

According to sources, "We have confirmed six people have been killed and 13 others rescued. The militants used a grenade to break the entrance before they shot at those who were sleeping in there and later escaped from the scene".

“The militants, who targeted non-locals, struck at 2 a.m. (local time) and shot the tenants arbitrarily,” it further added. 

Later, the another grenade threw by the attackers that shattered a building close to the residential area. Am investigation has been launched by the police regrding this matter.
