Langate: Early in morning, terrorists showed their aggression at north Kashmir's Kupwara district, which prompts security forces to strike back.
According to an army official, "At around 5 am, terrorists opened firing on an army camp at Langate in Kupwara district, which was retaliated by the alert jawans".
Two sentry posts of the 30 Rashtriya Rifles camp attacke by terrorists, where they started shooting and ran away. No sufferes injuries.
"The troops were alert and the attack was foiled," the official added, and a search operation is underway.
