After the lockdown for nearly 5 months, the central government has provided the target to resume with shooting of films. The makers of many Tollywood films including RRR are expected to start shooting soon. However, Ram Mohan Rao, president of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, has said that full-shooting resumption is unlikely to happen soon. He said that no one will risk their lives and come for the shoot, because positive cases are increasing every day.

It is to be noted that the makers of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde star Radhey Shyam have revealed that they are ready to resume shooting in September. Sharing a picture, the makers revealed, and announced that it would be terminated soon. A few weeks ago, Akkineni Nagarjuna, sharing photos from the sets of Telugu Bigg Boss, revealed that the filming of the reality show has also started. It is expected that producers of other Telugu films will soon announce for the shoot.

The media report quoted Ram Mohan Rao as saying, “The government has given permission, but who is willing to take the risk and shoot under these circumstances? Corona cases are increasing every day in the state, and people's lives are more important than resuming shooting. People are unable to attend the funeral of their relatives, why would they go to the cinema hall? Until the Corona situation improves, it is unlikely that mass shootings will resume in Tollywood ”. The same will happen if the situation improves.
