New Delhi: Jaguar Land Rover's Defender 130 SUV has been released in India. It comes in two forms: HSE and X. The car's attractive design and luxurious interiors, both of which are loaded with technological features, are standout features. The premium car comes with a choice of 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, petrol and diesel engines under the hood.

In May last year, the Land Rover Defender 130 made its debut. Though it is the longest Defender model from the company, it shares the wheelbase of the Defender 110.

We are hopeful that the car's fashionable exteriors, comprehensive feature set and respectable performance will attract buyers towards us. The luxury SUV market will undoubtedly see increased competition.

The Land Rover Defender 130 features a sculpted bonnet with wide air vents, a sleek grille, matrix LED headlamps and 'Defender' lettering.

Roof rails, ORVMs, flared wheel arches and 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels round out the sides. The rear of the car is adorned with a shark-fin antenna, vertically mounted smoked taillights and a full-size spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.

The 3.0-litre, six-cylinder Land Rover Defender 130 is available with a 394hp/550Nm petrol engine and a 296hp/650Nm diesel engine. Both the engines get a mild hybrid system, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

In its spacious eight-seater interior, the Land Rover Defender 130 comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, leather upholstery, front seats that can be adjusted in 14 different ways, and a multifunctional steering wheel Is.

It gets an audio system by Meridian and an 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Passengers' safety is guaranteed by multiple airbags and a surround-view camera.

Land Rover Defender 130 is priced at Rs. 1.3 crore for the entry-level HSE (Petrol) model and Rs. 1.41 crore (all prices, ex-showroom) for the top-of-the-line X (diesel) variant in India.
