Pune: In a shocking incident, BJP leader Gopichand Padalkar reported the recovery of a love jihad victim from Pune, Maharashtra. He told how after watching 'The Kerala Story', a family realized that their daughter was also trapped in a similar way by a boy named Javed. The family lodged a complaint with the Yerwada police station.

According to a report received, 4 years ago, a minor girl was kidnapped by a boy of another religion in Manchar village. An FIR was lodged in the case, but the Manchar police continued to be lax instead of finding the girl. The report claimed that the police did not provide any assistance to the victim's family at the time of the incident. There was no hearing on the family's pleas at different places. But six months ago, he came to know that his daughter had returned to Manchar. He tried to meet his daughter on the basis of information. But when they reached home, they found the girl in a burqa. BJP leaders say that the victim's family realised what was being conspired with their daughter after watching The Kerala Story. After that, he sought help from the people of his community and on May 16, the girl was rescued. The girl narrated how she was exploited. Apart from this, he has demanded the investigation of the phone of the criminal youth. According to him, pictures of more Hindu girls have been found in the boy's phone.  

According to BJP leader Gopichand, there have been many cases of love jihad in Maharashtra. The committee is investigating these cases. The BJP government led by Eknath Shinde will soon bring an anti-conversion law. According to the report, the victim's brother revealed his sister's ordeal, saying, "After marrying her, she was forced to wear a burqa, forced to offer namaz and fed flesh. When she resisted offering namaz, she was physically abused." The victim's brother said that his sister was taken away by the accused boy's sister. After that, the family made all efforts but were unable to trace her.
