Patna: A nephew killed his maternal uncle in Patna due to an illicit relationship. After falling in love with his aunt, the nephew killed his uncle by slitting his throat. In fact, the nephew fell in love with his aunt in such a way that he killed his uncle who was becoming a hindrance in the path of love. The body of the man with his neck slit was found in Fatehpur Garden under the Didarganj police station area of Patna City last Tuesday.

When the police investigated this blind murder case, they were also stunned. The deceased has been identified as Suraj Kumar, a resident of Nohata village under the Fatuha police station area. Suraj Kumar used to work as a Poledaar in the railway yard. His wife had an illicit relationship with her cousin, which he opposed. Suraj was killed by slitting his throat on opposing his wife's illicit relationship.

According to information received from the police, his wife Kajal Kumari and nephew Akash Kumar did not like the fact that he resisted their illicit relationship. The body was then dumped in the Fatehpur garden. The police have also seized the knife used in the murder case. The police have arrested both the murder offenders. The nephew who killed his maternal uncle in front of the police has confessed to his crime. Fatuha DSP Rajesh Kumar Manjhi said Kajal Kumari, the wife of deceased Suraj Kumar, had an illicit relationship with the deceased's nephew Akash Kumar and wanted to marry him. When Suraj Kumar opposed this illegal relationship, the two together killed him to get him out of the way.
