Chhatarpur: A peculiar incident has come to light in Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh. Here, an alcoholic kept licking the rat poison as a Sendha salt, when suddenly the condition of the drunk person deteriorated, the family members saw him, after which, they came to know that the person was licking the rat poison as salt along with tasting it, in a fit of rage, the family members took the person to the district hospital, where his condition is currently out of danger.
The case is of Ramgarh in Chhatarpur district, where 22-year-old Pushpendra Raikwar is a drunkard. The family members of the man said that the boy was eating salt and salad while consuming alcohol, due to this, he mistook the rat poison as sendha salt and mixed it with salt and salad, he kept licking the rat poison with every peg. When an excess of the poison reached the body, he started vomiting, then, the family members took him to the district hospital. He has been kept under observation after treatment. Taking lessons from the incident, the man has said never to drink alcohol again.
Recently, another incident was reported from Betul in Madhya Pradesh where 12 persons were killed and 35 others injured when a tractor-trolley overturned late on Friday night. The injured persons were brought to Chicholi Hospital. As the condition of 18 persons is serious, they have been referred to the district hospital. Police are investigating the incident.
