Hyderabad: Poet and lyricist Gulzar will open the 11th edition of Hyderabad Sahitya Mahotsav on January 22. On this occasion, he will showcase the essence of his book 'A Poem a Day'. The celebrations will be attended by celebrities like Amitav Ghosh, Harsh Mander, Amish and Akar Patel.

Hyderabad Lit Fest is important in the country's literary festival calendar, says Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary and Festival Chairman of Telangana IT Department. But this year's event will be very challenging. To keep pace with it, it is being managed in a limited way.

HLF Daurum playback singer SP Balasubramanian and Bengali actor Somitra Chatterjee will pay tribute. Both died last year. Additionally, the author will be a forum for minorities, LGBTQ associations, women and children, along with general issues in discussions, discussions, workshops and exhibitions.

There are 55 minutes of sessions and 15 minutes available to the audience.
