Saharsa: These days Kamlesh Kumar, a resident of Bihar's Saharsa district, is in the news. Kamlesh has secured 64th rank in Bihar Judiciary Exam held in 2022. His success includes years of hard work and the sacrifice of his father. For livelihood, his father sometimes worked as a porter and sometimes pulled a rickshaw. He also sold Chole-Bhatura on the handcart. Once the policeman has also raised his hand on Kamlesh's father. This case proved to be the turning point for his life.

Kamlesh Kumar said, his father comes from a very poor family. His father has 10 siblings. He turned to Delhi for livelihood. Here he lived in a slum. But in the meantime, the government's order came to remove the slums behind the Red Fort. All illegal temporary houses were demolished. Kamlesh's family was in danger. Then he started living in a rented house across the Yamuna. For survival, Kamlesh's father started selling in handcarts at Chandni Chowk. By this time Kamlesh had passed the 10th standard. One day when Kamlesh was with his father at the cart, a policeman slapped his father and forced him to close the shop.

The same incident had a deep impact on Kamlesh. He said- I got very angry at that time but I could not do anything. Then one day the father told me that these policemen are very much afraid of the judge. Only this thing sat in Kamlesh's mind and he decided to take a step towards becoming a judge. At this time Kamlesh was a law student at Delhi University. But remembering his father's words, he was determined to become a judge instead of a lawyer. For this, he started preparing a lot. He was an average student in studies. However, he had learned English well. In 2017, Kamlesh appeared for the UP Judiciary exam. After that, he started preparing for Bihar Judiciary. But here also he failed in the first attempt. Then Corona came and almost 3 years were wasted. But Kamlesh did not give up. He kept preparing and kept studying. He was finally selected in 2022. Kamlesh was successful in securing 64th rank in the 31st Bihar Judiciary Examination. Kamlesh said that when he went to see the result, he did not see his name anywhere in the list. He sat down disappointed. But then one of his friends informed him on the phone about his selection, hearing which he started crying. At that time Kamlesh was alone at home. Mother had gone to the market, father was selling chickpeas at Chandni Chowk. There were tears of joy in everyone's eyes when they came to know. This story won everyone's heart.
