The second season of the American teen love drama The Summer I Turned Pretty is set to premiere on July 14 this year, and fans can hardly contain their excitement. On May 31, 2023, the second season of the Amazon Prime program debuted. 

The Isabel "Belly" Conklin, Conrad Fisher, and Jeremiah Fisher characters played by Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, and Gavin Casalegno are shown in still form in the movie's first look pictures. Stills of additional cast members including Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, and Kyra Sedgwick are also included in the exclusive photos. The live-action version of Jenny Han's The Summer I Turned Pretty novel trilogy is the teen love triangle series.

The second book in the series, The Summer I Turned Pretty 2, is the inspiration for the movie. Even though the second season of the show was already announced before the first season even aired, it was a success and is now one of the most popular on Amazon Prime.

The Prime Video series adapted from #JennyHan’s books returns on July 14, but this time, things might feel a little different. “Belly’s in such a different head space than when we left her,” #LolaTung tells ELLE.com culture editor @ericagonzo. Fans should expect “a more mature side of the characters, because they’ve definitely been through a lot since we last saw them,” the star adds. And more of Belly’s “antics” are on the way too.
