Lucknow: A case of theft of Rs 7.43 lakh from the ATM of a bank has come to light just a few steps away from Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath's residence in Gorakhpur. The incident took place in front of Gate number-2 of CM house and 100 steps away from Gorakhnath police station. The miscreants stole Rs 7.43 lakh from the State Bank of India ATM.

After getting information about the incident on Sunday morning, the police, who reached the spot, is investigating with the help of the dog squad and fingerprint unit. The thieves painted black on both CCTV cameras installed in the ATM before committing the crime. Explain that the ATM of State Bank of India is located just opposite Gate No-2 of Gorakhnath Temple. A person informed the police over the phone.

Investigations revealed that there were two transactions from the ATM around 12 pm on Saturday night. 500 once and then 1500 rupees were withdrawn from ATM.
