Sambhal: A strange incident of fraud has come to light in a marriage held in the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that the girl's side married the elder daughter instead of her younger daughter. There was an uproar when the bride's veil was lifted during the ceremony of showing her face in the in-laws' house. The angry boys immediately sent the bride back to their parents. Now the groom has threatened to commit suicide. The incident took place in Katauli village under the Hazrat Nagar Garhi police station area of the district. Dalchand, who lives here, got married to a girl living in the Kailadevi police station area on January 26. During the custom, the bride's head was covered with a veil. With the traditional rituals, the bride and groom vowed to live together for seven lives. After that, the bride left and the groom brought her to his village Katauli. Then after the arrival of the new daughter-in-law in the wedding house, the ritual of showing the face started. When the women of the groom's side picked up the veil from the daughter-in-law's head due to this, the ground slipped under the feet of the people present in the house.  

In fact, the groom's side found that his son was married to the bride's elder sister under the guise of a veil. The matter spread throughout the village and the in-laws sent the bride back to her parent's home. Then the debate and panchayat era started between the two parties. In this panchayat held in the presence of relatives, the girl's side was heard saying that dowry was being demanded from us. At the same time, the boy side was saying that they have been cheated by the girl side under the guise of a veil. The girls married their elder daughter by showing their younger daughter, who is mentally weak.   

From January 26 till now, panchayats have been held among the people of his own community in this matter, but till now no solution has been found to this problem. Now the groom Dalchand is saying, "If justice is not given to me, I will commit suicide." At present, the boy's side has now lodged a complaint with the police. Police are investigating the case. The groom Dalchand said, ''I got married on 26 January. The girl shown to me was someone else. Whereas got married to someone else. The girl with whom I got married is mentally ill. I have been cheated. I will not live with her. I will die by consuming poison or by hanging.''
