Haryana Disaster Management Authority (HDMA) today issued an order banning the sale and use of all types of firecrackers (Cracker Ban) with immediate effect in all the 14 districts of the state under Delhi NCR. Let me tell all of you that an order has been issued to DC, SP and pollution control board officials of all districts in this regard.

Earlier, the Supreme Court has categorically ruled out any exemption for fireworks on festivals, according to the same orders. In fact, the ban on fireworks has been said to continue till Guruparva, Christmas and New Year after Diwali. You must be aware that if you comply with the orders issued, there will be a complete ban on fireworks in the districts covered by the NCR of the State.

At the same time, it is being said that the purchase and sale of fireworks and firecrackers have been completely banned in Jhajjar, Palwal, Sonepat, Gurgaon, Panipat, Rohtak, Mewat, Rewari, Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, Faridabad, Karnal, Dadri and Jind involved in NCR. With this, in addition to these districts, all the cities of the state are not covered by the state. The ban will also apply in towns where air quality during November is "poor" or worse. There are many states where firecrackers have been banned, although there are many states where there is still no ban on fireworks.
