Kolkata: The dates of West Bengal assembly elections are going to be announced today, but before that the political temperature is at its peak in the state. The Bharatiya Janata Party is pushing hard to overthrow the Trinamool Congress (TMC) rule from Bengal. Apart from PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, many big leaders of BJP are engaged in campaigning with full force in Bengal. At the same time, the state's CM and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee is continuously claiming to do a clean sweep to the BJP. On the other hand, after winning 18 seats from Bengal in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP is strong and it is hoping to sit on the chair of Bengal this time, but who will the people of Bengal make their head. However, in this election, a coalition of Congress-Left parties can also play the role of 'King Maker.'

Elections are always fought on issues and this time the BJP has made the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Citizenship Register (NRC) its main weapon. Apart from this, the saffron party is also attacking TMC regarding corruption, nepotism. At the same time, Mamta's party is blaming the BJP for doing politics of Hindu-Muslim and division. Today we are going to give you information about some such issues of Bengal elections, which will play an important role in deciding the political future of the state.

1 - CAA-NRC: As the assembly elections in West Bengal are getting closer, the demand for CAA in the state is increasing. Many veteran BJP leaders have also announced from the stage that as soon as their government comes, they will implement CAA with full force in Bengal, which can be beneficial for BJP in elections. At the same time, Mamta is strongly opposing this law and calling it a law based on religious discrimination. On the other hand, Mamata has also said in clear words about the NRC that all the Bangladeshi settled in Bengal are all Indians and they will not let the BJP expel any of them from the country. Whereas BJP says that every single intruder from the country will be picked out selectively. This issue can play an important role in this time's election.

2- Muslim appeasement: - Since the time of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP leaders have been besieging the TMC government on this issue. Even before this assembly election, BJP is aggressively engaged in campaigning against Mamata Banerjee's appeasement politics. In fact, there are frequent reports of violence from Bengal during Saraswati Puja and Durga Puja, and the TMC government of the state is accused that the minorities have the patronage of Mamta Didi. The population of minorities in Bengal is around 3 crores, which is 30 percent of the total population if Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM does not make a dent in this vote bank, then the possibility of this vote going in favor of Mamata Banerjee is very strong. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, TMC got 43.3 percent of the votes, out of which 23.3 percent were Muslim community votes.

3 - Corruption: Both the main parties of the state, BJP and TMC are blaming each other on this issue. The BJP's allegation of corruption in the TMC is also not clean. Mukul Rai, who quit the TMC and joined the BJP, is accused of murdering the Saradha chit fund scam and Trinamool Congress MLA Satyajit Biswas, which is still under investigation. At the same time, the BJP has been accusing Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee of extortion or extortion.

4- Jai Shri Ram Vs Jai Durga: In the politics of Bengal in the last few days, there is no such martyrdom as much as the chaos of Jai Shri Ram has been raised. In the past, even during PM Modi's program, CM Mamata Banerjee was enraged by the slogan of Jai Shri Ram and refused to give a speech. The BJP is taking advantage of Mamta's anger, BJP leaders everywhere seem to be targeting Mamata saying that Mamata has a problem with Ram. At the same time, TMC has raised the slogan of Jai Durga in protest, with this slogan, Mamata is trying to reduce the resentment of the majority.

Apart from this, nepotism, political violence, infiltration will also be major issues in this election. On the other hand, the entry of Asaduddin Owaisi's party All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) has made the Bengal election even more interesting, as the election of AIMIM could lead to a split in the TMC and Congress vote bank. Now it will be interesting to see how the camel sits in the Bengal Assembly elections.
