Bhopal: In the capital of Madhya Pradesh, Corona's havoc is not taking its name to stop. The number of patients in Bhopal is increasing rapidly. 89 days have been completed to get the first patient of corona infection in the capital. At present, there are 2656 corona infected patients in the city. On March 22, the first corona-infected patient was found in Professor Colony. After this, the process of closing the streets of the capital started to create a containment area. Meanwhile, the interesting fact is that out of these 89 days, there are more than a dozen areas of the capital which remained closed for 22 to 65 days instead of 21 days. The reason behind this is the number of corona patients of found here is high.

However, the record for the maximum 65 days to remain a containment area is in the name of the Ahirpura (Church Road area) area of the Jahangirabad police station area. This area opened on 8 June. Maximum 49 patients were found here. In this list, second place is Ahir Mohalla of Jahangirabad, where 48 patients turned out positive and this area remained a container for 62 days. Kumharpura area of the Mangalwara police station area was also a record 61 days. People here had to stay in the homes for two months. The area was closed on 2 April and opened on 3 June. There are 218 containment areas in the city right now.

Corona infection is spreading rapidly in the streets. This is the reason that the number of corona infected patients has increased rapidly after unlock-1 is implemented from June 1. The number of new containment areas has also increased. As of June 8, there were 166 containment areas in the city, which had increased to 257 by June 16. However, now 39 container areas have reduced to 218. In this way, 91 new areas have increased in the last 11 days and 39 have decreased. It is known that the employee residence of Raj Bhavan has been made free on Friday. More than 15 Corona infected patients were found here. After this, all were treated at Covid Care Hospital. Because of not getting any new patients for the last 21 days, the collector declared it containment-free on Friday.
