The incident of dragging the dead bodies with an iron hook near the Garia crematorium ghat in Bengal has come to light. On which Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has now written a letter to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee asking for a report on the entire incident and asked the general public to apologize.
On Friday, the Governor posted a letter on Twitter, in which it is written that "I had sought a report from the Home Secretary and the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Administrator Firhad Hakim in this matter, but both did not give information. Firhad Hakim did not come. That's why I had to send a letter." Governor has questioned that what if one of the dead bodies being dragged was your relative or friend? The governor has written that people are asking similar questions. The Chief Minister should give complete information in this regard.
Apart from this, the Governor has written that the manner in which vandalism has been done with dead bodies is going to embarrass us and this has tarnished the image of the state. He has also said that because of this there is anger among the people of Bengal and this will be reduced only when both CM and Governor will apologize. Recently a video came out from West Bengal in which bodies were being dragged while being kept in a Kolkata Municipal Corporation vehicle. Regarding this, Governor Jagdeep Dhankar has once again asked the Mamta government to publicly apologize. 'This horrifying unimaginable fear that pulls the human body out of hook will haunt us for a long time. A public apology is expected by Mamata Banerjee in the form of atonement. This barbarism is an indelible stain on humanity.
