At the same time, the government is taking a tough stand in this matter. Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sandhavi said that the police will file a charge sheet in the case in 10 days. The case will be heard in a fast-track court to ensure speedy justice for the victims' families. He said that as soon as the news of the consumption of spurious liquor came to the notice of the police, the department formed 30 teams and deployed them in the area so that the teams could identify the affected people and get them admitted to the hospital for immediate treatment.
