He did this against Australia on 2 November 2013. The special thing is that during this time Rohit also scored the first double century of his ODI career.

1 Eoin Morgan

The world record of hitting the most sixes in an innings of ODIs is in the name of England limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan. He had the highest total of 17 sixes in an innings on 18 June 2019. Morgan did this act against Afghanistan.
