On Sunday, COVID-19 cases in Andhra Pradesh increased to 417. Overnight, 12 new cases have been added to the list. The State Command Control Center has not issued a daily bulletin, nor was the COVID-19 dashboard updated.
For your information, let me tell you that now the Chief Minister's Office has, in a high level review meeting, cited the increase in the number of cases, citing the officials. So far, 11 corona patients have been discharged from hospitals in the state, while six deaths have occurred. Thus the number of active cases has touched 400.
Out of the total cases registered in Andhra Pradesh since March 12, between the outbreak of the virus, 199 were present in the Tablighi Jamaat and 161 were from their relatives and contacts. At the same time, it was told that in 13 of the foreign returns, the disease was detected and on 12 of their contact. Another 32 cases came up for other reasons, the CMO reported.
