Lucknow: A major accident took place in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday (January 11). A woman died after a mound of mud fell on her in Mawai Gajraula village under the Narsaina police station area of Bulandshahr district. There was a stir in the village when some people digging soil were buried under the mound.

After getting information about the accident, police and administrative officials reached the spot and called JCB for rescue. In the rescue carried out for a long time, 5 women, including a young man, were safely taken out of the soil by the police. During this time a woman named Bhuli Devi died due to suffocation.

Hundreds of villagers rushed to the spot after hearing the screams. Before the arrival of the police administration, the villagers started removing the soil. After the arrival of the police, the rescue operation of the people buried in the soil started.
