Train services affected on Vadodara-Bharuch route due to water-logging

Vadodara: Several western railways trains scheduled for Tuesday have been cancelled or delayed due to the washout of tracks between the Dabhoi and Ekta Nagar stations in Gujarat's Vadodara division,  officials said.

Western Railway tweeted as follows: "Due to wash out of tracks between Dabhoi and Ekta Nagar stations of Vadodara Division, some Western Rawilway trains of July 12, 2022, have been Cancelled or Partially Cancelled," 

As a result of waterlogging on Monday, 9 trains namely New Delhi-Mumbai Central (Tejas Rajdhani), BSB- ADI (Sabarmati Express), Jaipur-Mumbai Central, Indore-Daud Express, Indore-Mumbai Central, Dahod-Vadodara (MEMU), Hazrat Nizamuddin-Bandra Terminals, Yog Nagari Rishikesh- Kochuveli,  Jabalpur-Somnath up to the Vadodara division are in detention at Godhra Junction railway station (GDA) on account of  waterlogging on Monday.

Likewise, at Godhra Junction railway station, up to 17 trains bound for the Vadodara division are under detention.

Eight trains, including 09107 - Pratapnagar - Ektanagar - MEMU, 09108 - Ektanagar - Pratapnagar - MEMU, 09109 - Pratapnagar - Ektanagar - MEMU, 09110 - Ektanagar - Pratapnagar - MEMU, 09113 - Pratapnagar - Ektanagar - MEMU, 20947 - Ahmedabad - Ektanagar (Jan Shatabdi Express) 20950 - Ektanagar - Ahmedabad (Jan Shatabdi Express) were called today.
