Prime Minister Narendra Modi and EAM Sushma Swaraj held bilateral talks with his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau in the national capital New Delhi on Friday in which many key agreements signed to boost India-Canada ties with a focus on counterterrorism.

 During the meet, Modi and Trudeau exchanged views on mass issues, including defence and security, counter-terror cooperation, trade and investment and tackling climate change.

Six MoUs signed between Canada and India in the presence of Justin Trudeau,the Minister of Innovation,Science and Economic Development,Navdeep Bains,Minister of Foreign Affairs,Freeland, the Minister of Defence,Harjit Sajjan,the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities,Amarjeet Sohi,Minister of Science and Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, Kirsty Duncan,the Minister of Small Business and Tourism,Bardish Chagger who hold an expanded delegation level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House.

MoUs were signed on energy, higher education, trade and investment, sports etc. You can read the full list on the following official MEA website.

Early in the morning, PM Narendra Modi received Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau & his family at Rashtrapati Bhawan.Following his official welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau inspected the guard of honour and later he moved to the Rajghat, where he laid a wreath at Mahatma Gandhi's memorial.
