Raipur: The tussle between Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and Health Minister TS Singhdeo has once again come to the fore. In fact, on Saturday, TS Singhdeo announced his resignation from the panchayat department. Then, when Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was asked about Singhdeo, he said that he was yet to receive his resignation.

Chief Minister Baghel said, he came to know about his resignation from the Panchayat department only through the media. However, he has not yet received his resignation. He said he would consider it only after receiving the resignation. Singhdeo will continue to be the minister of health and family welfare, medical education and GST departments. Chief Minister Baghel said that I have not spoken to him. I tried to call him last night but could not get in touch with him.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Baghel has convened a meeting of the state legislature party at 7 pm today. The meeting will be held at the CM's official residence. It will discuss the presidential elections scheduled to be held on July 18 and the monsoon session of the state assembly beginning July 20. A party leader said the meeting will also discuss the political situation after Singhdeo resigned from one of the departments. Singhdeo, in his resignation letter to the CM, claimed that not a single house was built for homeless people under the PM Awas Yojana and funds were not allocated even after "repeated requests."
