Rohtak: There is a piece of big news from Rohtak in Haryana. The doctors here have surprised everyone by performing a unique surgery. In fact, two iron rods that intersected a young man's stomach here have been removed after 5 hours of successful surgery. From 9 p.m. to 2 p.m. last Friday, 18-year-old Karan underwent a successful operation in the card i.e. surgery department. The operation, which is said to have lasted nearly 5 hours, has been carried out by doctors of the department of cardio surgery and anaesthesia with their efforts to perform this unique surgery.

Under the information received, the young man's life has been saved after the surgery and now the patient's condition is out of danger after which the patient's father has thanked the doctors a lot. According to reports, at around 6 pm, the young man Karan was riding a bike from his house to collect oil, but on the way, he collided with a rod-laden vehicle on the way. After the collision, two rods went across his chest. The villagers acted wisely and cut off the long rods and admitted Karan to PGI. The operation is currently underway and Karan is going to stay under the supervision of doctors for a few more days.

After the operation was successful, doctors have advised people not to take out any iron rods and other sharp objects that have intersected the patient's body and take him directly to the doctor if such an incident occurs. He said doing so gives the patient more chances of survival. On the other hand, this is the second case in PGI. In 2011 too, an iron rod crossed the body of a labourer working in Rohtak.
