Munger: Two labourers who had landed in a well in Munger district of Bihar have been killed. After a lot of effort, the workers' bodies were pulled out of the well. Though the main cause of death of the workers is not known, the death toll is said to be suffocation. Police are currently investigating the case. Two labourers had landed inside the well to clean the well on Sunday in Sangrampur police station area of Munger district.

After the first worker landed, he succumbed to his suffocation, and the second worker also landed in a well to save him, but later both the workers could not come back. Both workers died within the well. The incident spread to the entire area like fire. When it came to the evacuation of the workers' bodies, no villager landed inside the well to pull out the body. When the incident was reported to the district administration, the body was not recovered for a long time.

After which the villagers were agitated and jammed the Chakka on the Sangrampur-Devghar main road. After the uproar, the SDRF team from Sultanganj reached the spot at night and pulled out the bodies of the two labourers after a long time of struggle.
