Itanagar: Two youths are missing from the Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh for about 75 days. According to the report, the names of the missing youths are Bethlem Tikro (33) and Beingso Manyu (31). Police have registered a case in this regard. Talking to the media, the elder brother of one of the missing youths has told that, 'We suspect that they crossed the Indian border and China kidnapped them. We request the central government to help in locating them.

Let us tell you that the Anjou region of Arunachal is connected to the India-China border. On this matter, BJP MLA Dasanglu has told that both youths have been missing since August 20. They had gone to get the herbs from the local forest and did not return. Police have registered an FIR in this matter. He further said that 'We have spoken with Eastern Arunachal Pradesh MP Tapir Gao, Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in this regard. The rescue operation is being carried out by the administration and the army.'

Let us tell you that earlier in August this year, the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Anjou district, RaiK Kamsi, while talking to the media, had told that both the youths had left Chagalgam in Anjou district, which is connected to the India-China border, on August 19. His family members lodged a missing report with the police station on October 9, 2022. Kamsi said, 'We have contacted the army. Our rescue operation is on to find them.
