KIEV, Ukraine: In talks with Russia, Ukrainian officials are aiming to build additional humanitarian corridors in four locations, according to the presidential press service.

According to Xinhua news agency, Ukraine is seeking to build alternative routes for civilian evacuation in the Kiev region in central Ukraine, Kharkiv and Lugansk in eastern Ukraine, and Zaporizhzhia in the southern portion of the nation, citing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

On Tuesday, a total of 7,026 individuals were rescued from the besieged city of Mariupol, where active battles between Ukrainian and Russian forces were taking place, according to the statement.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign minister Sergei Lavrov  said that What is happening in the world right now is an endeavour to construct a new world order, not just and not so much about Ukraine. During a speech at MGIMO, he said: "What is going on in the globe right now, of course, is not only about Ukraine, and not so much about Ukraine," Lavrov remarked.
