The Ministry of Road Transport and National Highways has approved an innovative project on ticketing in APS RTC. RTC officials have initiated the tender process. The 'Unified Ticketing Solution' project will be launched to create ticketing, reservation, tracking, complaints and data in one app. The project will be taken up by APS RTC in a manner that no RTC is implemented in the country. To make ticket reservation, you have to approach different websites for website, tracking and complaints. The Unified Ticketing Solution method will now be implemented to make all services available in the same app. The draft sent by the RTC was sent to the centre by the state government. The centre will now be given the approval of the tenders in the first week of February and hand over the project to the selected consortium. The Centre is providing rs 30 crore for this project.

This policy is implemented from village light buses to high-end technology buses. The project is implemented together with software and hardware. Cloud based technology will be used. Currently, only 39 per cent of the RTC follow slots online ticketing. The RTC is working to increase this percentage.

Tickets worth Rs 5,000 crore are sold annually in RTC. RTC figures reveal that 30 lakh tickets are sold daily. RTC spends up to Rs 10 crore annually to issue these tickets. Tim missions cost between Rs 7 crore and Rs 8 crore and paper rolls up to Rs 2 crore. The ticket issue amount to the consortium is handed over to the Consortium through tender method at no cost to RTC in the Unified Ticketing Solution Project. The bank and the software company should be formed as a consortium and participate in tenders. Tickets are issued in e-pos machines with the latest technology provided by the bank instead of Tim machines in all bus services. RTC is working on how many paise commission for the ticket to the consortium in tenders. How many tickets have been sold in the RTC bus through this project You can find out online from the headquarters. The ticket sale details will be known only after the tim mission is brought to the depot.
