Uniform Civil Code implementation 'Will not be Justified' says AIMPLB

The virtual executive meeting of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has taken a decision to work towards building public opinion against the uniform civil code. India sub-continent with different cultures and civilisations the uniform civil code "will not be justified", says the board. The AIMPLB member Zafaryab  Jilani told that in the agenda of the ruling BJP, only left is common civil code and they will proceed in the direction to imply it.

Jilani said that the board has decided to establish contact with different sections of the society, in threat to be affected by the implementation of the common civil code, and try to build a consensus and public opinion against it. The AIMPLB member said the board will challenge the special CBI court judgement in the Babri mosque demolition. The representatives of the board will appeal against the judgment in the high court said the board member. The special court acquitted all the 32 accused.
