Lucknow: The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has launched a major operation against illegal Rohingya citizens in Uttar Pradesh. ATS has arrested 8 accused including 7 Rohingya citizens during this period. Let us tell you that the Anti-Terrorism Squad of UP is already running a campaign against illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas. 

ATS had received information that some Rohingyas were made to cross the India-Bangladesh border by the members of the illegal border crossing gang and their fake Indian documents were prepared and they were brought to India as Indian citizens. Acting on this information, a total of 8 persons including 7 Rohingyas and 1 Indian have been arrested by the ATS team. The arrested accused include 4 Rohingya women, 3 Rohingya men including 1 Rohingya broker and an Indian broker from Tripura.

Let us inform that, on May 6, he was caught by the ATS team at around 5.50 pm from near the Jhakarkati bus stop in district Kanpur Nagar. A case has been registered under Section 420/467/468/471/120B IPC and 14 Foreign Act under No-02/23. During interrogation, the names of Dalal Anwar and Vimal Mian residents of Tripura, Yasmin and Tayyub residents of Jammu and Kashmir, Zahid Alam and Zubair residents of Cox's Bazar Bangladesh have come to the fore.
