Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh is going to polls next year but just before that, the political turmoil is gaining momentum. BJP state in-charge Radha Mohan Singh and Governor Anandiben Patel are scheduled to hold a crucial meeting today. In fact, Radha Mohan Singh will hold an important meeting with the Governor at Rajya Bhawan. Several important issues are said to be discussed during the meeting. BJP state in-charge will then meet Assembly Speaker Hridaynarayan Dixit at 3 pm.

Let us also tell all of you that Radha Mohan Singh has called this meeting a 'courtesy meeting' but it is not being accepted. Let's also tell you that four seats are going to vacant in the UP Legislative Council on 5th July. In such a situation, only the members nominated by the Governor will reach these seats. On the other hand, BJP President JP Nadda will again hold a meeting with the party's national general secretaries at his residence today.

The meeting is said to be likely to discuss the preparations for the assembly elections to be held in early 2022 in five states including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab. It was only last Saturday that JP Nadda chaired a meeting of party general secretaries. If you remember, this was the first meeting since the beginning of the second wave of corona in which the party leaders themselves were present. The meeting, which was held at JP Nadda's residence, was also attended by presidents of various fronts of the party.
