Kanpur: Many shocking cases are coming from Uttar Pradesh in the past few days. Meanwhile, a pregnant was drawn out of the house by her in-laws. She was beaten up for trying to enter the house. The police talked to the in-laws for a long time, but they did not agree. The State Women's Commission took cognizance of the matter.

Commission member Sunita Bansal interacted with DM and police officers. Subsequently, the police registered a case against the woman's in-laws. Lucknow Samvatpuram resident Ankita Srivastava has married one and a half years ago to Ghadrian resident of Harbansh Mohalla, Rahul Srivastava. Rahul used to run AP Villa Guest House in Shyam Nagar. According to Ankita, Rahul was admitted to hospital due to sudden illness. He died during the treatment. She had gone to her maternal home three days ago. 

It is alleged that when she reached the in-law's house, Ashwini Kumar, mother-in-law, Jaya Kumari(Rahul's Cousin), Anil Kumar Srivastava and other in-laws did not allow her to enter the house. Inspector Vir Singh said that a case has been registered in other sections including harassment, assaulting against Ankita's in-laws.
