Lucknow: The troubles of Uttar Pradesh mafia Atique Ahmed are not taking the name of lessening. Now the UP Police has declared a reward of 25-25 thousand on 7 other accused including Atique Ahmed's son in the case of murder and extortion. This reward has been placed on Ali, the younger son of Atique Ahmed. Ateeq Ahmed's son faces several charges including attempt to murder and extortion, extortion. Ali Ahmed came into the limelight after demanding extortion of five crores from a businessman. This case is of December last year. Ateeq Ahmed is currently serving his sentence in Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat. 

A case was registered against Ali on December 21, 2021 at Kareli police station in Prayagraj and he is absconding since that time. Let us tell you that at one time in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, Bahubali used to talk about Atique Ahmed, but this time he is not in the electoral fray. From 1989 to 2017, Atique Ahmed and his family members contested from Prayagraj. This is the first time in three decades when neither Atique Ahmed himself is contesting in this assembly election nor any member of his family is in the electoral riot. 

However, while in jail, Atique Ahmed joined Asaduddin Owaisi's All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). Let us inform you that Atique Ahmed won the first independent election in 1989 from the Prayagraj West assembly seat. After this, he continued to contest elections on the ticket of SP, Apna Dal and after winning he kept reaching the assembly and parliament.
