Yogi govt's action, UP Police raids for arrest of former SP MLA and brother

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath government 2.0 is in continuous action. Meanwhile, Etah police have raided the houses of former Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Rameshwar Singh Yadav and his brother former Zila panchayat president Jugendra Singh Yadav, who are absconding under the Gangster Act. The houses were searched through a raid. However, the police did not find either of them during the search.

On Sunday afternoon, CO City Kalu Singh along with a lot of police force reached the residence of former Zila panchayat president Jugendra Singh Yadav. The police searched for the two brothers. Jugendra Singh Yadav's son was found here. He was questioned. After questioning for about half an hour, the police teams left. The police team then went to Amritpur Raghupur village of Jugendra Singh Yadav. Here too, we learned about the two brothers. In Kotwali Nagar, action has been taken against former MLA Rameshwar Singh Yadav and former Zila panchayat president Jugendra Singh Yadav under the Gangster Act.

The complaint was lodged by the Kotwali Nagar in charge and the investigation of the case has been handed over to the Kotwali Dehat in charge. A report was lodged against the two brothers for illegal occupation of government and private land. A case was reported by Daroga for possession of kotwali land. The second report was filed by the Lekhpal for possession of government land. Three cases have been registered against the two brothers.
