Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has now also supported the implementation of law across the country. He has praised the Uniform Civil Code. Not only this, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has said that he will consider implementing it in Himachal Pradesh, but there will be no hurry in it.

It may be recalled that before Himachal Pradesh, there was a discussion on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Ahead of the Uttarakhand assembly elections, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had spoken in this regard. Now the BJP has formed the government again in the state. Now CM Dhami has said that he will soon form a committee to implement the UCC. After Uttarakhand, it is also heard in Uttar Pradesh. UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya had said that the UP government was seriously considering the Uniform Civil Code.

In Bihar too, the stir has intensified. However, there the BJP and the JDU are face-to-face over it. In fact, the BJP has kept the Uniform Civil Code on its agenda from the very beginning. At the same time, JDU's parliamentary board chairman Upendra Kushwaha has said that the country is a country full of diversity, which does not require tampering. What's going on in such a situation is better.
