She started serving in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) in the year 2017 after taking her electrical engineering degree from MANIT. After working for about 2 years, she did not like engineering and tried her luck in the UPSC exam for the first time in June 2019, although she did not get success but did not lose her spirit. Jagriti says that 'I started preparing from July 2019 and prepared with full dedication for a year.
